Code p0171 on 98 ford ranger

Well code 171 means the O2 sensor is telling the computer the fuel mixture is too lean and the computer can not make it go rich by increasing on time for the injectors.
The problem could be the O2 sensor, or low fuel pressure, or several other factors.

Changed fuel pump and fuel filter on ford explorer 98 and no fuel is passing to engine

make sure the pump is getting power check the relay and the fuses also check the regulator then if none of that is the problem
check injectors but it is very uncommon for all injectors to be blocked

How to change fuel injector in 98 bravada

You need to relieve the fuel pressure, Gain access to the fuel rail, should be 4 or 5 bolts holding the fuel rail on... once you accessed and removed the fasteners, carefully pull up on the railon aboth sides.. a little wd may help release the injector seals, and you definitely wanna replace the lower o-rings... be careful liining the injectors up when u install the rail

Runs rough , service engine flashing

If engine light is flashing, don't run it much. Check plugs, plug wires, etc... first. Need to use a scan tool to get trouble codes and start from there. An injector could also cause the problem. The ECM may see a problem there and set a code. You can check the injectors electrically with an ohmmeter to see if the injector coil is good.
