It is on the driver side at the bottom. You have to loose the inner fender to get access. We just remove the lover radiator hose. Hope this will help.

Where is the bleeder screw to get the trapped air out after changing thermostat? 2005 yukon xl

to the best of my knowledge to get the air out of the radiator you have to burp it! leave the cap off while engine is running watch the bubbles until they stop. be sure to put cap back on.

The heater only gets hot when driving if i come to a stop it turns cold , some one told me to bleed the air out of the syst. to look for a bleeder valve dose any one know this is ????

it is more like burping the gas out of a child. you remove the radiator cap, have some gently rev the engine and as you see bubbles coming up you pour more antiofreeze in. there is not a bleeder valve and the issue is that the core may sit higher than the highest point in the block or the radiator.

I drained the radiator system so that i could repair a leak in a metal pipe i refilled the system, the vehicle ran fine for a short while then it started getting hot and the engine makes wierd...

Domino effect youi have repaired one thing and now something else has gone wrong ,i would hazard a guess and say water pump but really you will need to ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as too many variables

I have an E46 1999 which has an over heating problem, i was told there is a bleeding screw near the thermostat but I can't find it. Does it exist on this model if so can you guide me o where I will find it

There is no bleeder screw near the thermostat. There is a bleeder screw on the expansion tank... It's by the radiator, it's about a size of a dime, and you use a large flathead screw driver.. Becareful it is plastic, so don't force off or on. In some rare e46, there might also be a bleeder screw on the upper radiator hose.

Have you shop perform a "leakdown test." You probably have a bad head gasket )or a leak in the gasket).
