Wiring/reverse camera

the covers inside we called cards.
they are hardboard with vinyl covering. door cards, or wall cars. etc.
so on most cars, you start low and pull to allow the spring clips to pop
and release.
if not clear, the FSM covers all this, step by step.

Set clock in 2007 jaguar x type

Could be a faulty clock which is not unusual on cars left in the long term parking without the battery disconnected .It sort of damages the chip inside the clock when battery voltage drops ,who knows if this is the problem but i could never set the clock on the video which i still have but my 5 yr old grandson done it when he was here on holiday in the summer and i have had a power cut since then soi now its flashing again so i just unplugged it:Only keeping it as i can play a big tape direct from my ancient giant video camera which amuses the grandkids no end but it cost me a lot of money when i bought it so iam reluctant to dump it .

Changed abttery in car, now the back up camera does not come on in reverse

Kimmy, Always connect a small memory keeper battery to your vehicles electrical system during battery replacement and you will avoid losing your systems settings. The engine control module probably reverted back to a basic setting when you took out the battery, sort of like losing the clock setting when the battery on a computer mother-board dies. You will probably have to get a dealer or professional mechanic shop to flash (re-program) your on-board computer with the most recent updates for your vehicle.

Green screen on camera

Hi there:
Some symptoms of a defective CCD include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

A CCD problem would explain the lines on your pictures and the lines on the LCD (since the CCD is used to feed the live image). CCD (Charge Coupled Device) is one of the two main types of image sensors used in digital cameras.

When a picture is taken, the CCD is struck by light coming through the camera's lens. Each of the thousands or millions of tiny pixels that make up the CCD convert this light into electrons. The number of electrons, usually described as the pixel's accumulated charge, is measured, then converted to a digital value. This last step occurs outside the CCD, in a camera component called an analog-to-digital converter.

In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. This is not something you may do on your own; check this article for additional details:Bad CCDs. This, isn't a good new, but hope helps to solve it.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

My 1999-2000 (early version, not the 2000-2006 model) Denali keeps blowing the right fog light after a short amount of time. Any ideas why? Or things to check to try to fix it? I know nothing about the...

THE PROBLEM IS USUALLY CAUSED BECAUSE THE LIGHT IS GETTING WET. IF THE BLOWN BULB LOOK LIKE A USED FLASH BULB FROM A CAMERA IS GETTING WET & WILL HAVE TO BE SEALED.

My car cd player won't play cd just keeps flashing load?

THERE MAY BE A RUBBER BAND TYPE DRIVE BELT THAT IS BROKEN OR SLIPPING. YOU WOULD HAVE TO DISMANTEL THE CD UNIT TO CHECK THIS OUT. RUBBER BAND TYPE DRIVE BELTS ARE ALSO USED ON MOST VIDEO CAMERAS , IF YOURS HAS STOPPED WORKING TAKE IT APART AND REPLACE IT TO RESTORE THE CAMERA TO WORKING CONDITION.

Key fob wont work on my Peugeot Expert

Does the battery need changing on the key fob?
you can check by using you'r mobile phone cam & pointing the key fob (ultra violet bulb) at the lens when pressing the button, you should see the light flashing on the key fob looking through the camera, you can use any camera, most of them will see the light as it's out of our sight range but cameras pick it up.
If not then unscrew the key fob & split it carefully (use an old credit card not a knife or screwdriver) & change the battery.
If the fob work's then the problem is with the receiver, usually up by the rear view mirror.
Hope this help's !
