I have a 2004 buick lesabre custom. It has 33500 miles and will be 7 years old December 1. Not having any problems with the battery, but should I replace it due to age? Car is kept in garage. Central Virginia.

The Buick LaSabre custom is a 3800, I think. Your speedometor may very well be correct! Take it out on the highway and time yourself between mile markers. Those cars are very fast; if you got a good tire balance you may be going faster than it feels since the car is smoother riding now.
Faulty instrument cluster. GM has had many problems with their instrument clusters and this is one of them.There has been a recall untold,that if your vehicle is not over 7 years old and have less than 70,000 miles on it they will replace it at no charge.GOOD LUCK!! No it's not have your engine check for oil leaks, also have then do a wet and dry cylinder compression test this will let you know if you are burning oil, also have them check the spark plug's.Hope this was helpful.
