If it's a mechanical speedo, there should be a cable running to the side of the transmission. You can disconnect the cable housing and spin the cable with a drill to see if the speedo works. If it does not then check for a broken cable or disconnected cable behind the speedo. If cable is good then either the speedo head is bad or the output gear at the trans is worn out.

sounds like you have a problem with a ground...take it to a garage and ask them to check and tighten all grounds and see if it works...if not it is possible electrical...hope this helps...

The fuel pump in my 92 Camaro RS isn't coming on. When I drove my car for about 9 miles it died out, and when I tried to start it the fuel pump didn't come on. The fuel pump has been replaced twice...

I could bet wrong, but check this out. if the security system its failing, it can turn off you fuel pump. Or the signal to start injectors. Read up on this link. It explains all about it. Symptoms. Trouble shooting. Do it yourself solutions.

Camaro tranny trouble

how much oil is there in the transmission? check it with engine running at idle and transmission in park when it is warm. sounds to me like it is low on oil.

The speedometer will shoot up then stop working after about 10 minutes of driving it.

change your speed sencer on top of the tranny. If that don't work change you gauge.
