Just remove the bolts with a 12 point socket or wrench. Just turn them counter-clockwise and they will come out

You can buy the replace ends for the side mount battery at Auto Zone, just cut and strip back the battery cable the length of the new fitting, clean the battery posts with a brush before putting on grease and bolting up new cable ends to battery after making cables with new ends on them. Use battery grease on each positive and negative end and then twist the cable before you insert it into the new fiitting, use the battery grease in between the new ends and the battery also. Make sure your battery has a full charge in it before re-installing it on your car, needs to have 13.6 Volts dc to keep charging system in good condition.

Where is the transmission fluid temperature sensor on a 2007 Hyundai Getz 1.6 auto? I have been told theyre normally above the oil pan, thanks

It is on the top of the transmission. The transmission doesn't have a pan. You should be able to look down the side of the battery and see the sensor

Check the fuel injectors, right on the top rear of the intake, theyre notorious for leaking slightly from theyre o-rings that hold them in place, the fuel usually leaves a residue telltale,ie the intake is clean in that area,....also check the fuel regulator...it has a vacuum line hose on it...unplug it and see if it has any fuel in the vacuum hosing...if it has fuel in it the vacuum hose fuel regulator is bad...

How dos the positive battery cable attach

Hi Lacinat,

Top post type batteries employ clamp connections. Side mount types have disk like screw in connectors.

Typically, both positive and negative terminals have identical connections. Look to the negative connection as a model.

Common tools needed:
1/2" wrench for top mount

5/16 socket for side mount

That's about it.
Best regards,

Mike

I dont know how to change the dead battery on my 1990 Buick Lesabre. Its conections are on the side and im not sure how to get them off, or where to get another one with conections on the side and not the...

The connections unscrew just like any other bolt. There just on the side. Most auto supply stores carry these type of batteries. The thing to make sure you get right when purchasing the new battery is the cold cranking amps. Make sure these are correct for your car. The auto supply store should be able to set you up with the correct battery. Hope this helps
