2003 oldsmobile Alero Put new lock and cylinder in and car still won't turn over

I don't have anything to go by in regards to your vehicles history. The main items to check are Fuse and relay (are they in good working condition?), the Battery (load test, 12.6volts before the test and won't drop below 10.5 during the test), the Battery cables (tight and free from corrosion and frayed strands), the Motor (free from corrosion between it and the ground cable and the starter), the starter (bench test), and the ignition switch (worn or loose connections). Besides the mew lock and cylinder, what have you tested and replaced? What is the repair and maintenance history? Please write back with more information and I will do my best to help, good luck.

I am having trouble figuring out how to get into the headlights on my 2001 oldsmobile alero to change the bulb.

Open your hood. On the top of each headlight there should be two black metal tabs. Pull up on those tabs. You should then be able to pull the whole headlight out. Once you have it out, you should see two rubber covers. Depending on which bulb is out pull the cover off and remove the bulb. Be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb as the oil from your fingers could cause the bulb to explode. I hope this helps you.

One of my headlight went out but i jus recently put a new bulb in it???? what could it be?

get thecar tested for overcharging.if it's not the bulb may jusr have been defective of if it was a halogen bulb it may have been touched and the oil from your finger tips can make them blow prematurely.

The ground wire to that side has been comprmised. Check that ground. in some cases it is easier to replace that ground with a new one.
