You possibly have a broken or shorted wire in the drivers door jamb inside the rubber boot that runs between the door and the body.

Why won't the windows of my 2010 jeep roll down?

It is almost for sure you control switch on the door you are using to control these devices. You can get a replacement from an auto parts store like CARQUEST. They are very easy to swap out.

I have power windows in my 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue and I was just driving around town, rolled down my front driver's side window and now it won't roll back up. The rest of my windows roll up and down...

this happened to all four of my windows. the inside the door panel there is a gear for the window mechanism, this gear is only made of plastic so due to old age it gets brittle and then the teeth on the gear fall off. its not a big deal though just go to a auto window place...they fixed all four of mine

I have had to replace three of the four window power regulators in my 2000 Durango. They just seem to stop working within a year or two of each other.

2001 jeep grand cherokee no power windows

Alright there is gonna be some type of circuit protection device. go to your local parts store or shop and see if you can get a fuse box diagram. It just may not be labeled windows and such. It most likely is the circuit protection device or the master switch( drivers side switch). Some cars have a common power or ground through that switch.

Right window will not roll down..

Did you meter the wire at the master switch? If so and you have power the switch is bad, if not you have a short in the wire.

Jeep wrangler driving with soft top windows open

Yes soft top jeeps can be very loud. Honestly your probably better off just leaving the top off. No matter what you do to the jeep it is not going to be more streamlined.

check this site out from nasa it explains aerodynamics pretty well.

http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/5-8/features/what-is-aerodynamics-58.html

The problem with jeeps and aerodynamics is they are completely flat in the front they are a giant wind sale. The drag created by air inside of the cab is going to be no worst than the drag created with out it.

2002 Nissan Altima windows roll down by themselves w/no key in

You need a body control computer, which controls the windows, door locks and other items. The new computer will have to be programed by a good imports shop or Nissan dealer.

try replacing the master switch it maybe malfunctioning due to wear.or may have shorted out by getting wet or something.since it is the primary control for all windows and power door locks.

Possible window fuse blown?

if the fuse is blown none of the windows will work,it sound wierd but all the power to the window motors runs through the drivers side switch. the drivers side switch may be your culprit.to be sure check to see if you have power goin in to the other switches before you replace the drivers side switch.
