Blower on heater won't work

Firstly check the fuses for the fan. If those don;t work, maybe there is some debris in the blower fan that is stopping it spin?

My A/C, FAN and HEATER stopped working

It's likely your blower motor is faulty. When it stops, so does everything else. It's located under the glove box. The most common cause of a fault is simply a loose red wire connection going into the blower motor itself. A simple squeeze with the pliers can solve that problem. If it's not a bad connection then your blower motor itself is faulty and can be bought on ebay and replaced easily at home.

The only other fault you may have is your bitron unit or temperature sensor, but these would not cause your fan to stop blowing. All the best

Just check them all! But its going to be the relay at fault... just to be sure its just the fan not switching on is the problem yes? In other words both hot and cold air a gone yes??

Heater blower wont engage

I have the same problem with my '99 Vehicross. It used to work intermittently, but now it never works.

The first step would be to check the fuses. They are on the driver's side, behind a removable panel. There is a chart that shows what each fuse is for, but it does not identify the fan fuse But If they all check out good, that will eliminate he fuse as the problem.

The power to the fan comes from the ignition switch wiring harness, and it should be a blue wire. My problem started after I did something with the ignition switch, so when I get the time, that's where I will focus my attention. You'll have to pull off the plastic shrouding to access it. I don't have a wiring diagram, but I assume that the blue wire goes to the heater control switch. If you have power to the blue wire, then it could be in the heater control unit or the fan itself.

This should give you some places to start looking. I hope it's something simple like a loose wire connection. Good luck.

I have a 2002 Buick Century which overheats when the car is not moving. I found out the cooling fans do not work with or without the AC on. I checked the 15 amy fuse listed for the fans and it was blown. I...

A blown fuse usually results from a circiut overload or short. First check wiring from fans for any breaks, rips or tears in wiring. Next with the engine off and cooled down, see if the fans will spin freely if you spin it. If they don't spin then they have siezed and the circuit is getting too hot. If they do spin then it is likely you have a short in the wiring.

The fan won't work in the gmc jimmy could it be a fuse

Which fan are you talking about. The heater fan (blower motor) has a relay the could have gone bad. The cooling fan in you engine has a fuse I believe that could have also gone bad. If you are talking about the cooling fan then try and trace the wires from the fan and make sure they didn't get unplugged or cut.

1991 Accord, stereo stolen, now no heater fan or cig lighter

while snagging your tunes, these guys may have disconnected a ground wire, pull out the heater fuse, check to see if 12v is getting to the fuse at box, if so and the fuse is good,it's a ground or switch issue, they probably have a book on your car at the library with the wiring diagram, they have a copier too
