How do you replace the struts on a 2006 dodge 1500 pickup?

Here are your dash warning lights. The lightning bolt is Electronic Throttle Control, and you can't drive without that. Not sure that your sail and sun is unless it is the Cold Ambient Derate Mode Indicator
You need a local auto electrician. you can't guess stuff like this, it needs a pro grade scan tool computer.

It isn't specified. There is more than one fuse that covers transmission. You would need an auto electrician or a transmission expert to connect a pro grade scan tool computer and diagnose if the switch or solenoid is faulty. A scan tool at this level is bi-directional and can command solenoids to operate and confirm that they do.

Had this problem of grinding/crunching/clicking left front. The front 4 x 4 didn't work. The front left axle had to be replaced.

Struts have springs around them that must be removed to get to the replaceable part. Shocks are just by removable with out taking off the springs.

SOUNDS LIKE THE CALPERS ARE STICKING JACK UP AND SEE WHICH WHEEL IS DRAGGING AND THEN CHECK THAT CALIPER

Its a Coil over Shock, so you have to buy shocks with the spring seat on them.

How about the shocks and possible hugh air pressure in tires? When you push down on front end the body should return without bouncing. Hard tire won't absorb road shock. Give those two a look at.. good luck
