Question about 2005 Honda Accord
I had this problem recently with a 2002 Acura TL-S, and hopefully it will help you out as well. There was what many consider to be a defect regarding the anti-theft system. If the radio is receiving too strong of a signal, it will not accept the code, and will instead display the error message. First, I would call up Honda help line and double check your code. If you tell them what you think the code is, they won't ask for any arbitrary information, and instead just say "That's what we have too." or "No, I'm sorry. We can give it to you if you just tell me your..."
Otherwise, your best bet would be to drive into an underground parking lot, park dead center, as far away from any exits as possible, and then punch it in. Hope that works!
