I'm trying to remove my factory running lights/turns signals to install after market lights. How do I remove the old lights?

Do not fit these lights unless they come with certificate of homoglonation as they could be illegal to fit

Replace the drl moduler


this might not be much of an answer,, But why do you think your DRL is ,gone,,, Do you have HIDS? led tail lights or after market bulbs anywhere in you running lights system, such as turn signals front or rear marker lights corner lights etc, if you do have Hids or leds,, and you didn't put in resistors in line with the lower wattage led bulbs you car can throw the drl light, like turn it on., and with daytime running lights you will short out the hids, since they are not meant to run at say 4 volts like the factory non hid ones that are dim when the running lights are on.... I don't know if my answer will help you but I hope it does.. good luck

Tail lights dash lights and turn signals not working


obviously it may have to do with the installation of the new stereo, while installing some fuse may have blown or wires are cut or wires were not put back in order.

What amp alternator is best for 96 maxima


depends on what accessories you have and want to run.. if you have after market stereo with lots of watts then you want to run the highest possible amprage you can get. if its just all factory accessories then just a factory alternator will be fine.. your old alternator will have a stamp of the amps it is and replace with the same.. i have installed custom built alternators with as much as 245 amps so it could run the stereo system with-out lights dimming

Where would I begin to troubleshoot lack of right turn signal at trailer plug?


Factory installed or after market.
Most of the SUV's, the trailer lead drops back to a splice in plug.
I would start there, and work my way forward
Do both turn signals work in the back of the truck?

Parking lights on Nissan Frontier on - trailer parking not. 4 pin connector to factory connector (after market sealed wiring) - brake and turn signals work - no power to "brown" wire at factory connector...


First check the fuses. There may be one for trailer running lights. Check also power at the harness. If the brake lights and turn signals are seperate, there has to be a converter from 5 to 4 wire. For the power to feed back to the brake lights it sounds like the vehicle wiring is direct and not using a converter... or one of the bulbs on the trailer is contacting both contacts. Try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx and maybe get a simple 4 pin tester that plugs into the 4 pin connecter. Hope this helps.

Alarm system stoped working on 87 caddy fleetwood


First question , is it a FACTORY alarm or an AFTER MARKET alarm. Regardless, I haven't met an alarm yet, that protects the radio.. My guess is, that if it is an aft/market alarm, inadvertantly placed the system in the "VALET" where it doesn'i work. Let me know if you disconnected battery, and are there alarm toggle switches.

1998 4runner trailer light wiring not working


I recommend that you tighten the ground wire screw for starters. since the vehicle is ten years old corrosion may be the culprit.
