And charge the Porsche trough your cigarette lighter socket. For that you could use battery jumper as well.

This is the easy way to get ot the trunk. The cable you can get in any autoparts stores.

1998 porsche boxster, battery is dead on car, and

This is a common problem. Your alarm was on when the battery went dead. When the alarm activated, the hood/bonnet opening lever locks to prevent thieves from opening the hood in case the top is down. Some boxsters have a jumper post the pulls out near the fuse box. However, I do not think the 1997-1999s have this post.

Buy a male-to-male cigarette lighter adapter at the auto store. Connect between your car's cigarette lighter socket and the other car's cigarette lighter socket. Do not try to start the ignition or the any other electronics. You should not even need the key in the ignition. You should be able to pop the door locks with the remote and open the bonnet.

You may also need to recover your radio code:

Car stood for over a week, unlocked via key in door, rear spoiler raised, spoiler and airbag fault messege on screen. Car will not start

Sounds like a bad battery. Do not lock or unlock the doors until you verify the battery is good. If the alarm was on when the battery went dead, you may not be able to open the bonnet to jump the battery. The 1999 Boxster does not have a red jumper post on the fuse box. You may need to hook a male-to-male cigarette lighter between the car and another car. Do not try to start the car with the cigarette lighter connect. When charged, you should be able to reset the alarm and open the bonnet. You may will need to reset your radio when the battery is replaced:

Alarm wont work and car is completely death no lights no latches working ,, and manual is lock in trunk and cant open it

Your battery is dead and it is also in the trunk. The truck is electrically opened. Go to the local auto part store or walmart and buy a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Once the battery charges a little, you can pop the trunk, get the manual, replace the battery, etc.

My batterys dead on my 1999 911 carerrea and i can not opern the truck. how can i get to the battery?

Auto part store has cigarette light to cigarette lighter jumper wire.

After 5+ minutes of charging,It will apply enough power to energize the relay to pop the trunk.

If you are the handy type then you can apply 12V from a power supply or battery charger to the POSITIVE terminal of the alternator post and frame ground to get temporary to the car.

Battery dead; cannot open hood

If the cigarette lighter is an unswitched power point you could use it as a location to put a very small charge, just enough to get the hood release solenoid to activate. Years ago there was a device that was a male cigarette lighter power point at both ends and enough cable to go from car to car. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT OPEN HOOD, DO NOT TURN KEY TO RUN OR ATTEMPT TO START. ANYTHING COULD RESULT. MINOR OR MAJOR. THERE IS A COMPUTER MEMORY SAVER THAT MATES A 9 VOLT TO A MALE CIGARETTE LIGHTER PLUG THIS MAY NOT BE ENOUGH TO RELEASE HOOD BUT MAYBE WITH A 12 VOLT FLASHLIGHT BATTERY (2 6 VOLT BATTERIES) WOULD WORK TO OPEN THE HOOD. (TURN EVERYTHING OFF EVEN DOME LIGHT.)
