There is a fuel pump fuse and relay in the engine compartment relay box. Check that first.
You can check the relay socket using my tip at . These are generic instructions.

Was there an accident? If yes, I will see if I can find an inertia switch in your car diagrams.

I have a Tecumseh OHV130 206810C. It sat idle for 2 years and was gummed up. Cleaned everything up but can only get it to run by spraying gas into the air intake. Could there be a fuel pump problem an

You follow the hose from the bottom of you fuel tank right to the fuel pump. If you don\'t have a pump, that same hose will go to your carburetor. Either way disconnect the hose from the carburetor. Put a can under hose and turn over engine. If gas flows your pump is OK. Next remove bowl off bottom of carburetor, ( with can under bowl), I believe you will find crap & water in the fuel bowl. I would drain all fuel from tank, hoses, and pump. Clean fuel bowl , you may need new bowl gasket, put in fresh fuel, try to start. Water in the fuel is a very common problem when you hear NO START. Caution when dealing with fuel, remember SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY, and did I forget to mention SAFETY. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Electrical problem for the fuel no power

A lot of newer vehicles have a fuel pump cutout switch on the engine. If the engine shuts down for any abnormal reason, it loses oil pressure and one of the things that happens is the fuel pump is cutoff. This is a safety item in case of an accident which shuts off the engine. Check for the oil pressure cutout switch on the engine, which is usually different from the oil pressure gauge or light switch. Can't say exactly where it is, sometimes on the upper rear part of the engine behind intake manifold or on lower side of engine right into the block. The fuel pump run circuit is different from the fuel gauge circuit although they usually run in the same wiring harness if the fuel pump is in the tank. If the pump is not in the tank then the fuel level sender in the tank is probably defective and should be replaced.

After running for about 10 minutes the car stops and turns off. turns back on but when you put it on drive it turns off again after about 10 minutes it runs again.

This problem can cause by combine of few parts.
Loose linkage and / or bad / failing neutral safety switch.
Check for free play on shift and linkage to the transmission. Check for worn / loose mounting bolts around the neutral safety switch.
A weak fuel pump can also cause stalling.
Fill the tank above 3/4 tank and see does it problem still occur.
A weak fuel pump will not effectively delivery fuel when the fuel level is below 1/3 tank.

Something is going wrong with my feul system. I put it on the front tank and it works a little then it acts like I am getting no feul. I switch to the back tank and it works better. The back tank is...

It could be the valve, that switches the tanks,or the fuel pump in that tank you are having the problem with,it is most likely the fuel pump in that tank that is the problem. If this was helpful, please rate, thank you.

I put a new fuel pump on a 94 Mazda and now it won't work in the car but runs fine when I take it off and try it. Is there a relay or something like fuel cutoff? If so where is it

There are fuses for the fuel pump and should be located under the hood. You should not run the pump out of the fuel tank the fuel keeps the pump cool and it only takes about 15 seconds to destroy a new pump when running it out of the tank.Chances are you might have ruined the pump by running it out of the tank.

I cannot get the car started.

most likely the fuel pump will need to be replaced. only way to replace is to drop the fuel tank and remove the pump from the top. the 92 camaro did not come with the emergency fuel cutoff switch. best way to find out is to turn the ignition on and listen at the fuel fille spout you should be able to hear it pretty good from there if it is working. to drop the tank ... you will need a jack, 2 jack stands and a standard socket set ... just jack up the car and support it by the stands. make sure you put something in front of the front wheels. remove the 2 fuel tank straps and lower the tank ... installing the tank will be easier if it is empty ... just drain the gas into a clean garbage can or small pail depending on how much fuel you have in it. just make sure you strain he fuel before putting it back in or you can look to possibly replacing the fuel filter.
