Where is #5 plug how does it come out?

i you have a v6 or a v8 engine usually the #1 cyl is on the front right of the engine, odd number on one side even number on the opposite side ex: below

left 2 4 6 2 4 6 8
v6 front v8
right 1 3 5 1 3 5 7

you need a specific deep socket wrench size to remove the plugs
i have no idea what your car use because you did not give the brand
there are 3 sizes of plugs in common use 10,14,&18 mm with 5/8 and 13/16 hexagon. the tool to remove your wheel usually will fit your plug
(the one that came with the car)

I have changed the spark plugs in my car an now the firing order is wrong. how do i fix it??

im sure its running by now but the search on jeep always lands here.
so ill answer,
no engine size stated? so no answer, but..
the I6 is four liter is, 153624
the 4.7l is on page 62, engine chapter. V8
the #1 cyl is front on inline 6
the #1 cyl. is same on v8 and v6, one cylinder is just tad more forward
that be cyl 1 and bank 1 too. in this case left bank is forward 1.

I have misfrie in cylinder 5 just want to no were it is

if its a v6 they have the cyliders numbered 246 on one side and 135 the other that would make it one of the rear cyl a v8 is 2468-1357 this will make it the third cylinder from the front on one side or the other. if you look on the inlet manifold it should have the cyl numbers cast onto it or check distributor cap or coilpack for numbers and follow the plug lead for that cyl the leads may be numbered as well

Need to know #1 plug position for motor and distributer

#1 cyl on any v6 or v8 is the cyl that is closet to the front of the engine. if you look at the engine sideways you will notice one valve cover is ofset a little bit . the one most forward is no 1.
on a four cyl it is usualy the furthest from the tranny end but not always

Have a 1989 f 150 it had a 302 v8 in with a stick. motor and trans are gone can i put in a straight six and use existing wiring or will it be a pain i was even thinking of making it an automatic any info...

Ok. I went the other way .. I went straight 6 to V8 302.. rule 1: You cant use a fly wheel from an 8 to a 6 bc of the balance. if ya get an automatic 6 cyl combo,, youll need the 6 cyl chassis mounts bc the V8 is way to low.. and you'll have to rewire the dura spark to be a 6 cyl.. Its a pain.. But otherwise, No big deal
