At a shop your looking at roughly $60 - $100 dollars a tire mounted and balanced. The drive axle will run you a couple hundred dollars for labor and a couple hundred for the part.

So total you would be in the $500 - $800 dollar range depending on the quality of the tires, the shop you choose, and the shops labor rate.

Rear passenger axle needs replaced

A Sunfire is front wheel drive, so there should not be a rear axle.
There is a rear strut, the hub and bearing is bolted to the trailing arm and strut. The tire and wheel bolt to the hub.
I would get two estimates for repairs before making a decision. It could have under-body damage too.

An axel might need to be fixed. what would the cost be?

most likely you have two front half axles or drive shafts, and one rear axle beam. So first figure out which one you are talking about, then go look up that part on a parts store website or call a dealer. Rear axle beam will be a dealer or junk yard item, front drive shafts are common and sold at every parts store. When you know what part you need call some reapir shops and ask them for an estimate for labor to remove and replace that item. They have time books at their disposal. This is not a parts store, nor a repair shop.

How much would it cost to fix the inner tire rod

The parts for the inner and outer together is around $80, (all 4 joints) labor to install should be about 2 hours plus alignment, I would say $220 is a good price for that work. Just make sure that price includes a new alignment. Hope this helps, let me know.

My car slid side ways into a ditch.the right front tire was pushed bvack against the fender and you can't drive it because it because it like bump bump bump.whats an average cost of getting it fixed?

it may need a lower control arm at the least which could cost approx in $300 range parts and labor. Afterwards you also would want a wheel alighnment which cost approx $65. If you have more problems it could run into bad axle, tie rods, rim, tire and sway bar end links.

Estimate for new battery tire rod repair and 4 new tires for the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The tie rods are part of the steering system not connected to the battery. If you have an estimate from a shop it should show a battery on a different line than a tie rod or tie rod end. Tires vary greatly in price depending on size, use and brand. Many tire dealer websites hae do-it-yourself tire pricing allowing you to choose different options.

Question about new tires

If they are in deed good tires and correct size keep them. Only suggestion is to keep the two same brand/tread tires on the same axle front or back. Never mix tire sizes or tread on same axle. This could affect braking and traction on wet roads espically.

Hello, If the tag is not present, you can get a rough estimate by putting a chalk line on the tire and on the drive shaft. With the vehicle jacked up spin the wheel and see how many times the drive shaft spins with a full tire rotation. If the shaft spins about 3 3/4 times you probably got the 3.73. If it spins a little over 4 times you probably got the 4.10. To get it exact you can remove the differential cover and count the teeth on the ring gear and pinion gear then divide the two to get the ratio. On the back of the rear differential there's a metal tag sticking out, with various numbers on it, like 8.8 for the 8.8" rear end, and probably a 3 73 or 4 10 for gear ratio. If there's a L between the numbers 3 L 73 then it is a limited slip. Also, the sticker in your door jamb will have info on it. One section will have the Axle code, 97 or R6 or something. The 8.8 should be plenty of enough axle for your motor but you can not go wrong with a ford 9 inch though becuase this will axle will handle any amount of horsepower you throw at it and the axles are easy to replace as well. I hope this fixes your problem.
