Dashboard lights out and also brake lights. does that mean the battery needs to be changed on 1998 Toyota rav 4x4?

If all your fuses are good, start looking at your ignition switch. It's the one thing all those circuits have in common.

I got a chrysler sebring 2006 and its overheating. i changed the theromastat and still the same thing. if i change the water pump, will it mess up the timing?

done properly it shouldn't. While it is difficult the water pump can normally be changed without pulling the timing belt. Although this is not always true. I highly recommend you get the Haynes Repair manual on that vehicle before starting this repair. There are step by step instructions with photos of the work so you can see the proper alignment. If you are going to have to remove the timing belt I recommend you take the time to go ahead and replace it. Since there will be specific steps to align the Crank and Cams to make sure the timing stays correct.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus my blower is blowing fine the heat is coming out cold i have recently changed my theromastat and the heat is still blowing cold

The heater core (a mini radiator located under the dash) or its feeder hoses are clogged. They are not allowing water to circulate through the heater core. That is where the heat comes from.

Replace cooling system thermostat

Follow top radiator hoze to the engine block. The item it is attached too is the thermostat hosing. Remove coolant for the radiator. Remove theromastat housinf. Remove theromastat.Clean all casting surfaces for new gaskert. Place gaskert and sealer on cleaned surfaces as well as the new thermostat in exactly ther same position as the ond one came out. Tighten bolts evenly. Refill the radiator with the coolant. Add extra coolant to replace what was lost.

Car over heating, losing collant. is it the theromastat? and where is it located?

sounds like a water-pump ,or a busted hose, start your car and try and see where the leak is coming from.if its leaking from the rad it could be a bleeder nut its about 3 bucks or the rad itself,if it were the theromastat it would normally just overheat and shut down,im not sure where the thermomastat is on your caddy but it should be behind your fan and it is inside a part called a gooseneck a metal part with 2 or 3 bolts
