The first step and most important step is to disconnect your battery. Then locate the sensors. They are in the exhaust. You should have one before your Catalytic Converter and one after. They just unplug and the new one plugs in as far as the electrical goes. Then they are threaded into the exhaust.

1993 Previa was stalling on highway. Now it won"t start. No pressure at the fuel rail. Spark is good. Where do I start checking voltage for fuel pump? Is it likely fuel pump has intermittent fault?

Unless it is the fuse or relay to the fuel pump, you need a new one. They either work or they don't, have enough pressure or they don't. The old days of tapping the fuel pump with the haft of a hammer are gone. They also hide them in the fuel tank.

How to remove egr valve on a 1993 toyota previa

That previa has a central engine, so all engine work requires you take out driver and or front passenger seat out.

The EGR placement is here >> http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairguides/Toyota-Previa-1991-1997-Repair-Information/EMISSION-CONTROLS/Exhaust-Gas-Recirculation-System/_/P-0900c1528008a1d5

How do I get them off and new ones on? How do I deal with the little clips holding them on -I don't want to prise them open if shouldn't. Sounds expensive if I break them. Is a Toyota Previa, approx 2002

I wouldn't replace just the wiper rubber... I would replace the whole wiper. They come off pretty easy, there is a metal rod that extends from below the window to the piece that holds the wiper. At the end of that metal rod is a plastic clip, usually if you slide a small straight edge screwdriver under the bottom side the clip it will all slide off. But be careful, they are spring loaded and can chip and or crack your windshield. Most auto parts stores will install them for you if you're nervous about it. After you remove the old one, the new one slips right on. It will click into place when you get it right.

TOYOTA PREVIA CDX 2001. HAS HAD ENGINE LIGHT ON FOR A YEAR OR SO - GARAGE SAYS IT IS ONE OF FOUR OXYGEN SENSORS ON CATALYTIC CONVERTOR - BUT THEY DO NOT KNOW WHICH ONE. ALSO IN LAST MONTH OR TWO -...

That sounds like a faulty 02 sensor. Technically speaking as a mechanic myself, I suggest that they all be of the same age for computer to read correctly. It is expensive but well worth it.

Speedometer repair

well a cable is any cheeper if it has one.
to find out. you need to find that fuse you mentioned.
if you have one replace it. it wont cost much.
if thats your fix then all is well.
you have no fuse it's a cable. and that need to be replaced. and it's a pain.
if it's not the fuse but a sensore the price sounds high but about right. (****you can always go to a junker for one****extra cheep) finding it is easy. it will be the on the trany close to the out put shafts. remove the old one with a socet and screw driver to pry it out and replace.
