SOURCE: Car loses power when it gets to about 80Mph

the boost controller works by vaccum pressure on some turbo engines and if it loses vaccum to the controller it dumps all turbo pressure out exhaust instead of intake. I would check that if it were me. It could be the mass air flow though it is located in the breather tubing somewhere between filter and the intake manifold.

I recently purchased a 2003 hyuandai tiburon GT with 171k miles on it i was on the interstate doing 80 mph in 4th gear at around 6k rpm when my clutch pedal dropped back into the floor board and just...

hmmm... 80mph @6000 rpm is not normal. you are needing a lot of power to produce 80mph. it seems clutch assembly needs replacement. clutch assembly includes clutch disc, fly wheel, and release bearing. might as well check your clutch master if the vacuums are still working properly. this might be the culprit to the stuck up clutch pedal.

after replacing the clutch assembly, you can reach 80mph @ 4000-4500rpm

Power loss at 80mph

Fuel problem or the ECM and or chip has a 80mph limiter. Or your really winding out the engine, in which case, by the time you read this it will be too late.
