What could be the problem. Any info you can give will be appreciated. Also there is this grinding almost dragging sound comin from the left side front tire area. What could that be? I am not sure how to answer the starting problem, I would suggest going to Autozone and put in on a scan tool to read out any possible codes--eliminate some guesswork for yourself. It is FREE.

The grinding or dragging at the front wheel could possibly be the brake pads need to be replaced. Do both wheels if they are bad.

You basically had a intermittent problem,If anything it probably was not the fuel pump, In order for the fuel pump to turn on the ECM, needs to see a crank value, of 250 RPM or the fuel pump will not turn on, what gives this it is the crank sensor,The crank sensor does age and when it goes out you can be driving down the freeway and all of a sudden the car stalls, and it doesnt start up,12_26_2012_5_26_02_am.jpg

1999 saturn sl, i'm having a hard starting problem, since last week it takes like 2-3 times cranking before starts the car

Your pressure regulator may be failing. If you know where it is located, on th fuel rail; you can unplug the vacuum hose while the engine is running and you should hear a change in rpms if it is working. If you don't hear any difference, it needs replaced.

95 buick lesabre dies all the time

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check to see that all the little vacuum hoses (and one big one to the brake booster) are attached and not cracked. Hope that works.

The locks don't go thru the ignition switch. Check the battery connections for corrosion or looseness.

Car cranks, but hesitates to start after sitting for over 24hrs

Tune ups are always a good place to start , including air, fuel, plugs and for the extra 5 bucks a PCV valve. If these havn't been done in the last year at least might want to start there. If that doesnt make any difference please post again and we will look at something else!
