If it was P0342, you can probably fix with a new camshaft sensor. The part is $25 at autozone. Labor is about an hour. I will paste procedure below, including test procedure to make sure your sensor is bad.

Removal & Installation
3.0L Engine

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  4. Remove the throttle body.
  5. Remove the 2 bolts, the nut and the upper intake manifold support bracket.
  6. Disconnect the RH CMP electrical connector.
  7. Remove the bolt and the RH CMP sensor.
  8. Remove the fuel tube bracket bolt and position the fuel tube aside.
  9. Disconnect the LH CMP sensor electrical connector.
  10. Remove the bolt and the LH CMP sensor.
NOTE Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

3.9L Engine
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
NOTE The engine appearance cover is equipped with a noise suppressor. If the noise suppressor becomes separated from the engine appearance cover it must be positioned on the intake manifold prior to installing the engine appearance cover.
  3. Remove the engine appearance cover and the noise suppressor (if detached).
  4. Disconnect the 2 CMP sensor electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the ground strap nut and position the ground strap aside.
  6. Remove the 3 nuts and position the wiring harness conduit aside.
  7. Remove the 2 bolts and the LH and RH CMP sensors.
NOTE Inspect and install new O-ring seals as necessary.

NOTE Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
WARNING Use only a high-impedance multimeter, otherwise damage to the PCM and/or sensors can result.
  2. With the key OFF , disconnect the CMP sensor harness connector.
  3. Measure the resistance of the CMP sensor.

    3.0L Engine: 250-1000 ohms 3.9L Engine: 1850-2850 ohms
  4. If the resistance measured is outside the limits given, replace the CMP sensor.

I have a 2000 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8. Throwing codes for random misfires on different cylinders and a fault for TPS low input voltage. Is this due to bad COP's or could it be an ECM problem? Thanks!

If it is several cylinders I would look at the mass airflow sensor. It can be cleaned with brake pad cleaner or mass airflow cleaner. Could also be a vacuum leak.

I changed battery on my 2000 Lincoln LS and the temperture lights are blinking

Disconnect your battery and make sure it has a full charge.
Low voltage can cause "crazy's"
Leave it unhooked for 30 minutes. This will let your ecm clear its brains out.
Reconnect your battery, and see if it straightens up.

On a seperate concern, make sure you have a battery that is specific fot an LS.
They require a battery with a vent hose connection to keep the hydrogen gas from the battery from collecting in the trunk, and causing an explosion.

Good Luck

2000 lincoln ls i got a trouble code p1633 (KAM)voltage to low

P1633 means KAM (Keep Alive Memory ) Voltage too low. the KAM is caused by low battery voltage and you replace the battery. When you replace the battery the KAM loses Memory and the problems resulting in what you are experiencing now. When replacing a new battery, reconnect the Positive cable first. And use a trickle battery charger set low to the cables before disconnectng the battery . this will keep the voltage to the ECM powered with enough voltage. All you can do now is make the computer relearn the way it should run. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, wait a while 20 seconds or so. then reconnect the cable. I do not know if this is a temporary fix or not but it should re-program the computer.
