2003 nissan altima drivers window auto roll up and comes back down 6 inches

Window system has "anti pinch" system to stop body parts being trapped in a window trying to power up against it. The system is detecting an abnormally resistance to the window powering up and for safety sake it powers back down to release the object trapped in the window closure. You need to find the cause of this, is something jammed in the upper rubber window channel/seal?

If the power window motor does not work, you would have to disconnect the motor from the window regulator to move the glass up or down.

Where is the fuse/relay for pasenger side window on a 2003 nison altima

The relay is made into the switch and the power comes from the Body Control Module, there are 3 fuses in that circuit, a 50amp fuse link in the fuse box by the battery and 2 10amp fuses in postions #12 and #6 in the fuse box behind the left side of the dash. Hope this helps.

My 2003 nissan altima engine misses and surges and it comes and goes it is a 4 cyl 2.3

Camshaft and crankshaft sensors are common failures on these vehicles and will give you those symptoms. Camshaft sensor is fairly easy to change (right on top on side of head on drivers side)
Crankshaft sensor is buried on backside of engine way down on the bottom.

Driver's window intermittently bounces up and down. It doesn't happen all the time. As the window goes up it bounces back down about a third of the way. Additionally, my driver's side door lock does not...

This could be a problem with the wiring harness in the door. Also the auto windows have a pinch protection feature to prevent the window from closing if anything is obstructing it. That may be your problem, but it really sounds like the wiring harness might be faulty

Back rear window replacement in 2002 Nissan Altima

First take the door panel off by unscrewing the door panel screws. Next undo the door handle screws followed by disconnecting the window power unit. After everything is removed, peal back the protective plastic if there is some to get access to the bolts for undoing the window and to losen the window tracking sides. After the old window is unmounted take the gasket casing for the window and only have the top part pushed in while the sides are lose and away so the window can be slide in and the bolts then reinserted to support the window. Last take the bottom parts of the gasket casing and feed each side down either side of the window until it is taught and secured in place. After that plug in the window power to make sure it works correctly and then reassemble the door handle casing and door panel. You now have a brand new back passenger window for a 2002 Nissan Altima.

1997 Nissan Altima Rear Driver side power Window.

Switch needs to be replaced. Its a common problem and isnt that difficult to replace. Once you get the door panel off, its pretty much unplug the old one and plug those wires into the new one
