It means that the engine will not run efficiently, you may have reduced power and you may be damaging the catalytic converter.

Internal memory fault and failure. Every time i have gotten a 606 code, I had to replace the computer. I have replaced about every part in the PCM, except the chips. To many leads coming from a small chip.

Wira 1.8 jerking badly when driving

you need to make a tune up mayor( ignition coil+PCm+wires spark+sparkplug, etc d2a5a8d5-daa6-4fbf-80c8-b6cbcb77c6a0.jpg. reset the manufacturing specification and use the scanner/computer for easy diagnostic and fix it.
see the diagram attached.

Code 606 freestyle 2005

Powertrain Control Module Internal Communication Error (PO606)

This may be beyond even the best tech

You have a failure mode, that may be in the gas pedal (apps) but they seldom fail, next the (etb) electronic throttle body, there I see parts going on that won't be the issue, then you have a bad (pcm) that's not a high failure item either & would have to be programed

I have had somewhat similar issues on my Lincoln Ls & they are not
easy to diagnose, as almost any spike to the pcm sends you to a place that no reference material from ford provides

I would be 100% sure that you have no bad ignition coils
& you most likely will not have any luck with any codes or find
anyone that will touch that problem but a dealer & then I don't see
happy results,just a big bill

I would like to help, but can't come over from the internet,
so tell me how it ends up, I like the ford challanges that
make little sense or are any in manual

Changed motor car wont charge found 4 broken wires in harness 2 in ground repared them still wont charge was told pcm needs to be replaced and programmed. what about pigtail on alternator being bad

Yes, repair the alternator wire. The pcm does not control alternator output, it only uses and monitors it. I don't know if it is a problem, but maybe from the bad wiring you found may have affected it. Don't know who told you to replace the pcm, but think I'd get a second...well, a third opinion.
Sorry I can't help you more, good luck.

My 2005 f150 has a p0345 code and I don't know what that means

P0345 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2) A code P0345 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
  • a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken
  • the camshaft position sensor may have failed
  • the PCM may have failed
  • there exists an open circuit
  • the crankshaft position sensor may have failed
    • Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit
    • Check for continuity in the circuit wiring
    • Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor
    • Replace the camshaft position sensor as required
    • Check the crankshaft position circuit as well
    • Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required
    • Diagnose/replace the PCM as required

HAW TO FIX PROBLEM FOR CODE P1627 FOR A 2001 ISUZU RODEO SPORT V4

That is a Manufacturers Code

I put the code into internet explorer & got
what you see below

P1627 --PCM A/D Conversion Malfunction

PCM ---Powertrain Control Module (computer)
A/D --- I guess is a binary analog to digital function
that your not getting processed correctly

I have no idea what you do,that is why I have all the
factory manuals for my vehicles

Any other codes?

I wouldn't leap on a bad PCM,they don't fail often

A bad sensor could fool it or spike it into being confused

CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON. TOOK IT TO ADVANCE AUTO PARTS THEY PLUG THE MACHINE TESTER TO IT AND FOUND THE PROBLEM P1698. NOW THEY SID THAT IT COULD BE EITHER ONE OF THESE PROBLEMS BAD WIRE, TCM OR PCM HAS...

The description for fault code P1698 is "No CCD Messages Received From PCM" The CCD bus is the circuit that your computer system uses to communicate between the computers. There are several Computers in your vehicle. You didn't mention year or model or engine size, so I can't be specific, but most have at least an Powertrain Control Module (PCM) computer, Transmission Control Module (TCM) computer, an Antilock Brake System (ABS) computer, a Passive Restraint (Air Bag) computer and the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) when one of these computers are unable to communicate through the CCD Bus, the other computers will tell on it. Thus, code P1698.

This can be an internal fault in the PCM (not very likely) it can be a shorted or open CCD Bus circuit, or it could be caused by the PCM losing one of its power or ground circuits and momentarilly shutting down. If your instrument cluster is also having problems like you described, the problem is most likely a power or ground circuit malfunction. The rest of your computers need to be scanned to assist in pinpointing the actual cause of this code. The "Generic OBD" scanners that they use to sell parts with at the auto parts stores do not have the capability to scan your ABS, IPC, Air Bag, or other modules. They can also not access the "Vehicle Specific" side of your PCM. They can only scan the "Generic" codes that are output by the PCM. Again, this is most likely caused by an open or shorted circuit or even a malfunctioning ignition switch - something is most likely causing the PCM, the TCM or the IPC to lose power while you are driving.

Gm check engine codes P0 606 2007 2500HD. What does it stand for? How can I fix it?

Powertrain Control Module processor fault. It means you are going to have to replace your PCM. You can try to find one at a junkyard, because the dealer will charge an arm and a leg for it.

i hope this helps,
matthew
