Question about 2001 Ford F150 Styleside SuperCrew

1 Answer

I just bought a 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 and it has 192,000 miles. I have not found a problem with it yet but i would like to get tips on what to look for and if these trucks last. Im debating on doing a tune-up. I know that once you reach at least 100,000 miles you shouldnt do tranny service if it hasnt got a service record.

You need to change trans fluid on all vehicles every 30,000 miles or two years.
Same on power steering fluid.
Spark plugs every 50 to 60,000 miles or three years
Brake fluid every year, not more than two

There haven't been Tune-ups in 25 years --everything is done with computer/processors

That is called Preventative Maintainance
