You need to check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge it should read more tha 2 bar if it doesn't you might have a blocked fuel filter or a weak fuel pump if they are ok check timing

Spray a little carb cleaner or brakeclean into carb w/air cleaner removed. If starts, check fuel supply to carb. If ok, clen carb and jet with spray carb cleaner and try again.

2001 jeep grand Cherokee 4wd won't start after replacing fuel filter

If it ran prior to the filter replacement, it will most likely be a filter issue. Installed backwards? You have to allow fuel pressure to build back up and fill the new filter before it will start. You can try cranking the engine while applying the gas pedal slightly to see if it will start

Engine cranks wont start

First thing I would check it the fuel pressure at the rail. You can spray some starting fluid or carb cleaner into throttle body. If it want to fire it is most likely the fuel pump. If it doesn't try to fire it is most likely ignition related. Good luck

I have a 84 Buick T-Type it's getting fire an it gets gas up to fuel rail but I don't think the injectors are spraying

Have you checked the injector circuits with a test light to see if you have voltage and a pulse ground from the computer ?
Can you spray carb cleaner into the intake to make it try to start ?

Engine won't start-- it trys -seems like it may not be getting fuel. Sprayed carb cleaner and it fired up--until it was used up

fuel pump, or fuel filter, turn the key on and off a few times and there is a valve that looks like a tire valve on the fuel rail push on it and see if it has pressure. if it has lots of pressure it is an electrical issue with the injectors if it does squirt out it is probably the fuel pump

I have a 1995 chevy blazer that wont start by cranking it will start if you spray gas into intake was starting before bleeding the air out of fuel rails

sounds like your fuel pump is dead or you still have air in the system

however, even if you had air in the system, it purges itself when you try to start

therefore, a weak fuel pump cannot overcome the air block and your car won't start

however, you did not specify if the vehicle will stay running once started on carb cleaner

if the vehicle starts and stays running with the carb cleaner then you are probably dealing with a defective fuel pressure regulator

Car not starting right

My first thought is low compression, run a compression test and see what the values are, if they are below 75 lbs. then you probably have lower end problems, if they are all above 100 lbs and one or two are at less than 80 lbs, you probably have a cylinder head/valve problem. Hope this helps, let me know.

I recently ran out of gas.The spark plugs not showing any fire. I am not sure how to bleed the fuel injectors? What do I do?

I fail to see how fuel pressure will cause a no spark condition. But, there should be a schrade valve on the fuel rail on most models. You can also spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking to get it started (but likely not because of spark) Your injection system should self purge. I would also check the crank position sensor...that can shut down fuel and spark under certain conditions. Make sure that fuel pump is running (listen with key on) before beginning any diagnosis.
