Tech 1-- was to be made by Vetronics in Calif, makers of the Mastertech ,now owned by Bosch, and now almost absolete.

I don't know where you have been for the last 30 years, but every repair shop has a scanner, and now almost every tech has one of their own.

Also, why would you be at a dealer, after the warrantee ran out ,just to spend more than you have to?

You go to any shop, check the codes and then follow a diagnostic process, to find the issue and repair, don't need Tech 1 or 11,just current software

Our GX 460 is now showing the check engine light with the anti skid light on s well. Also, the light flashing 4 low is on and car will not accelerate

You MUST READ the error codes to learn which detected fault is causing the 'limp home' mode. Try PepBoys or Auto Zone etc free Scan to read the codes. May require DEALER diagnostic computer to reset/clear the error code(s) and/or repairs. Good Luck, it may be trivial loose connector or may be mega-buck disaster

You need to enter the unique code for your radio that was given to the orig owner. If you do not have that you will need to see the GM dealer.

The check engine light came on on my 2004 Pontiac Vibe 1.8. Code PO420 came up on my code reader "catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1. Also on the face of the reader the C (cat monitor)...

My first thought would be the converter considering the codes....which will cause the sensors/heaters and other components to fail or read as being bad... I would call a dealer and make sure there are no recalls on the emissions systems and anything to do with the vehicle..
Also it would be worth your while to scan it with a TECH 2 scanner......You may have one I dont know......But I worked for Buick/Pontiac/GMC for 5 years and TECH 2 was a life saver...
It will tell you everything !! If it is running fine though I would just change the oxygen sensor,
clear the codes, test drive it then check it again.....But if you have no problem with it and hooked it to an emissions analyzer and it showed ok I wouldnt worry....

Anti skid light on

Not sure about a solution but I have a 2004 Highlander and this issue nearly caused a wreck. 3 different people could reproduce it on the car. Had it towed to the dealer. Now they say they cannot find anything wrong. If they can't fix it, it's going to be traded in. If this happens at freeway speeds someone is going to be seriously hurt.

2004 Silverado 2500HD. Airbag/Steering wheel control issue

if you have an anti-theft radio option, when you disconnect the battery you disable the radio. there is a code you need to activate so this does'nt happen, but you must do it before you disconnect the battery. by taking the truck to a dealer, he will use the VIN number and the radio serial number to get the reactivation code from the GM tech service computer bank----------just another example of the useless **** GM puts on their vehicles and costs their customers more money and time.

On my 2000 oldsmobile intrigue the anti lock and brake light won't go out

The lights are indicating you have an ABS brake control failure.
There are only a couple of things to look at. Check the ABS fuse in the under hood fuse box. If they are OK, take the car to your local Auto Zone or Advanced Auto store and get the codes pulled, they will do it at no charge. Write the codes down and reply.
We will go from there.
Good luck,
Regards,
