CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, TCS OFF LIGHT AND THE TRACTION LIGHT are on...

Code 340 is for a problem with the cam position sensor. That would affect the tach and cause the check engine light to be on.
And most all the time the check engine light is on the other warning lights will be also. The Traction control system uses the engine and the ABS system to function. So if there is a problem with the engine, the TCS will be disabled.
The cam sensor and circuits would need to be tested. It could be a wiring problem.

Tcs light came on with my 2000 honda odyssey, what does that mean?

TCS = Traction Control System

The TCS light is on because the check engine light is on this is common repair the check engine light failure abd the tcs will go back to normal.

You need to check the code to see if it is a trans code and then if it falls under the bulletin limits Honda will replace the trans under warranty. Even if you are out of warranty Honda will sometimes do a partial warranty. Here's a copy of the Bulletin.

There are several things that will turn the check engine light and tcs light on .if you get the code I can tell you exactly what the problem is . on your year i see transmission problems as well as egr problems. if you go to any large auto parts store they will check the code for free or a very small fee.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

My honda odyssey 2003 model has aq knock sensor circuit malfunction problem detected by the computer, also the engine light is always on, and the TCS light showing when i am in motion. how do i correct...

The tcs light will come on whenever the engine light is on, this is because the tcs cant operate correctly when engine is not running good so its shut down by the computer, the code if the only code means there a problem with the knock sensor, you will need to check the connection and make sure the wire is good and if it is then you will need to replace the knock sensor, heres a diagram to help you locate the knock sensor good luck, hope this helps,johnjohn2_69.gif

The TCS light came on and the car started jerking especially at stops. The light would go off for a while after restarting the car but the same problems would happen and the light would eventually come...

The TCS stands for Traction Control System, I believe. The TCS is controlled by inputs from the wheel speed sensors. If you have a bad sensor, then a new hub may be required to repair it.

The check engine light may be a sepawrate problem. Have the codes scanned for both the Anti lock braking sytem, TCS, and the check engine light.

Sometimes it will require a separate scanner for the TCS/ABS vs. the Check Engine light.

Good luck on this diagnosis and repair.

TCS and check engine light keeps coming on. We have had the code and it was the ERG value. We replaced and lights are still coming on.

You may have more than one code.
You may need a ABS sensor if the TCS light is coming on.
Check the codes again.

What does code 52 means on the toyota corolla 2000 model in SA.

DTC 52 on a 93 Corolla is a Knock Sensor code. I replace the knock sensor; it is located on the side of the engine block, on the side of the engine that faces the firewall. It is in the center; under the intake manifold.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.
