Question about Jeep Liberty
If the starter will turn over with ease, its not the starter. Sounds like the fuel pump or the fuel filter. Depending on the age of the car and the level of gasoline you use (regular, mid grade or super) things can get clogged up in your fuel filter and keep the engine from getting a good amount of gas, thus causing your problem. I'd check that first b/c its the cheapest to replace and its good practice to change it out every few years or try running a higher grade gas or running some "Chem-Tool" in it once you fill the tank up.
