Question about 2004 Ford Expedition
First take battery to autozone and have a load test run on it. You may have low cranking amps caused by the alternator failing to charge your battery. If so, have autozone charge your battery then drive to autozone again so they can do a load test on your alternator. sounds to me like its either a bad battery or bad alternator or both.

It could be the solinoid or relay to the starter also check connections to starter . Is there any sound (clicking) when you turn the key ? could also be in the ignition switch or transmission relay pick up a Haynes manual for that specific truck and it will show you how to check and the location of the relays
