Check the Crankshaft Position sensor. Usually it will reveal itself through the check engine codes. If this is faulty, the coil will not get the signal it needs to fire.

There were several driveability
improvements made and Chrysler issued a TSB to address the issues.
There is a software upgrade that will take care of the problem. So I
would let Chrysler check it for codes and perform the upgrade.
