What make injectors spray to much gas on a 92 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme 3.1

Possibly clogged injectors. You can try using a fuel injector cleaner in the fuel such as Berrymans B-12 in the gas tank and see if that will clean them up. If that does not work, you will probably have to take the vehicle in to a mechanic and havve the fuel injection system cleaned. Have you changed the fuel system filter on schedule? That is one key to keeping the injectors clean, along with using a good grade of fuel. Some fuels use a higher percentage of methanol or ethanol, and that scours your fuel tank, allowing all the residue into the fuel line, usually clogging up the fuel filter. If the filter is bad, some may get through and also clog the injectors. Had that happen on an older Buick my daughter drove.

I think my fuel injectors need cleaning or one may be failing is there away to clean them myself other than putting fuel injector cleaner in gas.is there anyway to tell if one is failing also is there

No, you cannot clean furl injectors. Fuel today contains cleaners and 99.9% of injector failure is due to an injector whose electrical winding create no or low voltage or high voltage. Either way the faulty injector will cause the engine to miss or run poorly. You can use a volt meter to check voltage. With the volt meter touch each probe to either terminal on the injector. A normal ohm reading would range from 11.8 -12.9 ohms. Any reading from 1.0 to 8.0 or 15.0 and higher, the injector is no good and should be replaced.

There is two ways you can clean fuel injectors either the expensive way but you can keep kit and repeat every 6 months. http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&q=fuel+injector+cleaner&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=UuhETM3wL5Pu0wSTz8mdDw&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CDMQrQQwAA
Buy a fuel injector kit !!
Or buy a simple fuel injector cleaner solution which goes into your fuel and will clean it out over a period of time, Both work good just the professional kit is best.

Engine will turn over fast but wont start 6 litler powerstroke it seems to have lack of fuel presure i checked fuses and fuel pump reset no luck

Hello there:
If you are positive that the fuel pump and the fuel filter(s) are clean . Over time deposits and tiny particles lodge themselves in the injectors. This can clog and injector and prevent it from delivering the fuel the engine needs. It can also cause an injector to stick open and send too much fuel into the engine. i would also recommend having the fuel line and the injectors professionaly cleaned.
and last Regular use of a good in-tank cleaner will keep you from having future problems with the fuel system

usually with approx 100,000 miles ive seen 6.0 liters have injector problems, try changing the fuel filters,if that doesnt help consider replacing injectors. You can loosen each injector up while running to see if there is a change,if so then that one is working.you can try seafoam in the fuel but it would take a while to clean the injectors, but it could fix it i suppose,if you are lucky.Being a diesel owner there is important servicing that needs to be done, fuel filters are important to keep the fuel clean and to the injectors, keeps the injectors from drying out and wearing out.

1994 buick lasabre 3800 injectors dont work

This is a fuel system related problem.

There are no fuel coming to the injectors is part of the reason you should take a look at the fuel pump and any possible blockage in the fuel filter and all other fuel hoses.

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank beneath the back seat and the fuel filter, 1 comes with the fuel pump and the other is in the hood.

Doing these should make the car work.

I love this car.

Good luck dear and remember to rate this solution.

My 93 jeep grand cherokee runs rough while in idle

Injector cleaner that goes in the tank is ****. I would take the injectors off and have them cleaned by a profesional for about $30-$40. Or you can do it yourself but it is a task.
