Use more pressure, more elbow grease, put more force on it, use a bigger wrench or ratchet. Make sure its indeed the filler plug.

Cant find dipstick for trans

There isn't one. To check trans fluid you need to climb under it, open the filler plug and fluid should just dribble out the filler hole when full.

How to refill brake fluid in 1995 hyundai elantra?

Hello,

Manual trans: remove the filler plug (high up on the drivers side of the car... looking at it from underneath) stick a thin hose attached to a fluid pump into the trans until it touches the bottom then **** the old fluid out. then fill to the bottom of the fill plug hole with the correct oil (75W-80W gear oil), replace the filler plug.
Automatic trans: remove the drain plug on the pan, drain into a container, remove pan, clean or replace filter/screen, replace pan, fill with correct oil (not common Dexron II or III -- Hyundai ATF SP-II or Chrsyler spec 7176).

Need to put transmission fluid on my its stick

there are 2 bolts on the transmission underside that are not connecting anything to the trans. itself. One is a drain plug at the bottom, the other is a filler plug on the side. remove filler plug and pump in fluid until it starts to leak out from the filler hole, re-install filler plug and you are all done.

Where can I find my 2000 vw transmission dip stick?

There is no Dipstick. Checking the trans level can only be done with VW software to read out the trans oil temp & removing the 5mm plug on the bottom of the trans pan. There is a hidden filler behind the front guard that will accept fluid. The trans is full when the fluid escapes the bottom hole after adding it to the filler at the correct temperature. Not for the faint hearted.

What trans fluid is in 84 nissan pickup manual trans

No transmission fluid are ever used in manual transmissions.
Gear oils are used. And the specification is:
Gear Oil 80/90W

You would need to park the truck on a level ground in order to do this job.
Remove the filler-plug on the side of the gearbox, and using a hand-pump or a rubber hose, fill the gearbox with the specified oil. Once the gear oil starts to flow out through the side filler-plug, stop! The required quantity is reached.
Replace the filler-plug and start the car to check for leak.
Be careful so you don't accidentally get unwanted item in the bearbox.

Need to check tranny fluid on manual transmission where do i look

check for oil leeks from trans if no leaks you should not need to top up oil if you do want to flush the oil you will find to plugs 1 the drain plug on the bottom of the trans and 1 filler plug on the trans about 1/2 way up the housing you will need some sort of pump to get the oil back in though, pump the oil in till it starts running out the filler plug hole then let it run till it stops and you will no the trans is full replace the plug and tighten (do not over tighten ether of the plugse as you can crack the housing bear in mind thay only retain oil they do not hold the engine in the car)
