Question about 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Please spend $25 and get a mechanics manual for your vehicle there are far too many things to explain.. the $5 answer would be:
1. remove trans from engine
2. unbolt pressure plate incrermentally and evenly as not to distort pressure plate
3. check flywheel for run-out, end-play, scoring and burnishing on flywheel/pressure plate, turn,re-surface/replace if req'd
4. install new pilot bearing clutch disc using special alignment tool and torque all bolts to factory spec and procedure , some recomend new bolts
5.reassemble in reverse order
