Ford focus manuel 2001- Just my side brakelights have stopped working. My license plate light hasn't worked sence I got it. The middle dashboard lights have stopped working. And the speedometer drops on...

simply bad earths my friend... find out earth locations on the car and clean and re tighten. number plate bulbs are terrible for going on these as water ingress so get changing bulbs etc. I would start by removing boot panels and earths are in this location near lights and also kick panels...as in when your sitting in driver seat and tip your foot off side...in there....bottom line earths....cheap fix just locations to find for it. hope diagram helps you.35e5bf68-7edc-4c46-8d53-7aef77beedfb.jpg

How do i replace rear number plate light bulbs?

You get to them by removing the few center fabric plugs in the trunk, and then pulling the light assembly out of thier holes. It's quite obvios once you remove the clips. Hope that helps.

How to cahnge number plate lights?

1). Open your Trunk and let it extend all the way up
2). Look up at the part of your trunk closest to the license plate.
3). There should be 2 wires, one going to the left light and one going to the right light. Follow the wire to the bulb, and twist counter-clockwise, or to the left to remove the bulb from the housing.
4). Replace the light bulb with the recommended factory bulb.
5). Repeat step 3 in the reverse order.
