We have a Renault traffic but the headlights won't work

no cut off or inertia switch

ok, but not told does car driver OKAY
and with headlamp on and not dim lamps.
the cars battery may be near EOL? 6yo.
or alternator weak causing love battery voltage
13 to 15vdc running good ALT.
I say all that because cars main voltage goes to 10vdc many vital computer can fail or go nuts, (random errors not real)
as always
check all fuses
scan the PCM
test the battery and ALTr
if still bad find a better shop.

Renault traffic headlight bulb removal

needs adjusting properly ,cannot remember how i done one about a year ago .Sorry i work on so many different models and makes i just work from looking at something then working it out .

headlight control unit switch. check this. has inbuilt relays. the one you turn to turn lights on.

Crank sensor top of engine to the left just under air filter housing. Just unclip wire and replace. Soon know if it don't work van will not start.

try to go step by step to solve the problem.First check if any fuse for lights is blown,if so replace it with new one on same capacity. Second check the rear bulbs if are okey or not renew accordingly. For brake lights even more proceed on brake lights switch which is always located under the dashboard on driver's side above the brakes pedal. even more check for the rear lights unit if are well the connectors connected .

check oil level in gearbox,,,,sounds like its low
