Question about 2003 Ford Taurus
Low fuel pressure can be caused by fuel pump or pressure regulator. The regulator is on the upper side of the engine and looks like picture below. Check the vacuum hose all the way to see if it has a loose or broken connection. The regulator is much easier to replace that the pump, so I always recommend one replace the regulator before the pump. If you know someone that can check the fuel pressure before the regulator, you can actually determine which part is bad.
