Hi!!
Your problem could be related to a worn upper or lower bolt joint, tie rod end, tie rod, control arm bushings or other bushings. The best way to find out what's wrong with the suspension is to jack up the vehicle, remove the front tires visually inspect and wiggle the suspension/steering and listen for loose components or excess play. Here are some diagrams of the front suspension and steering components to help you identify, remove and install defective parts. Good Luck!!

Check your cv half shaft axles and front struts. Replace them if they are worn out. Have your front wheels balanced and then get an alignment done. Make sure your power steering fluid is filled up and check the tension of the power steering belt for play. Don't drive the truck anymore until you are 100% sure it's safe again

It sounds like your power steering pump has something that came loose inside of it. You need a new power steering pump.

On a 1989 toyota pickup truck sr22re 4 cyclender 2wheel drive automatic how do you do a front end alignment to stop the truck from shakeing at 65 mph.

Shaking is caused by one or a combination of the following things.
Cord separation in one or more of the tires, worn front end parts causing excessive play, check ball joint and all components. And last check for a bent wheel or hub face that the wheel bolts to. There are some other reasons but these are the most common.

My 91 toyota 4x4 single cab no matter how much i spend or repair it pulls right bu

Check the brake rotors up front for bluing or spalling, you may have had pads replaced, but if a caliper gets stuck so it cannot move in relation to the abutement it is bolted to, or a piston is not fully retracting, this can cause that as well,

Also take a look at the rear springs- the shackles, where the shackles mount to the frame and the spring leaves- you may have broken main leaf which if broke a certain way, could allow the rear axle to shift it's orientation to the rest of the vehicle. Also look to see if the frame is twisted- it is a boxed frame, but it is soft.

If you have power steering, put the front wheels up in the air and block the rear wheels so it does not fall off, then start the vehicle and see if the steering will allow you to steer from stop to stop with one finger. If it has a power steering valving issue, it will show up by spinning the wheel out of your control until it hits the stop.

If the alignment is truly that bad, or the vehicle has been in an accident, you will see odd wear patterns across the tires. Getting what is called a "thrust alignment" or "4 Wheel" alignment will make the vehicle drivable.

HI I have a 91 toyota pickup 4x4 and when i have to brake hard the steering wheel shakes and its not the rotors. Would it be the idling arm?

This problem usually is the rotors but it is possible that you have something worn out in the front suspension. Most shops with a wheel alignment machine will do a free examination if you ask them because they'll want to sell you something. Just make sure they show you the problem, if you like, you can fix it yourself and then have them align it. Most Toyotas of this era need an alignment, the bushings tend to settle and you'll notice the inside of the front tires wearing.

Replaced shoes on 1988 Toyota Pickup 2 wd, breaks will not stop wheels...what could this problem be?

I assume the rear shoes where replaced, was this a problem before replacing the rear shoes?Adjust the rear shoes out to where the wheel drags just a littl when turning it by hand, then if you need to,bleed the brakes, bleed the master cylinder, then the right rear, left rear, then right front, and left front,do not run out of brake fluid during this proccess.

Removing rotor on a 1991 toyota 4x4 pickup

You have to take apart the 4x4 hub to get to the lock nut for the bearings then you have to reome the hub and rotor assy, then you have to press the wheel studs out to remove the rotor, then reverse the process.

91 4runner 4 wheel drive problems

Check that your front right brake caliper isn't dragging: coast to a stop, and check if it is hotter than the left.
check for even tire pressure and tread wear on each tire.
check axle alignment by measuring distance between front and back tires on each side, they should match.
if none of these fixes it you may have a partially seized bearing on your front differential
