The ignition timing for your 1992 Mercedes Benz 300E is set between 7-11 Degrees (for the 2.6L engine) and 6-11 degrees (for the 3.0L engine) Both are non-adjustable. Is it a diesel car? If not then please check the spark on the spark plugs. May be there is no spark.
