I have a 2000 grand vitara. The check engine light has been off and on for years. It stays on for months at a time then goes off. Doesnt seem to be any engine problems. Must be a problem with the light.

Hi, i have a suzuki gran vitara 2002 hdi 2.0, every time i go over 100 km/hour the check engine comes up, the truck looses power, i have to stop shut off the engine for couple of minutes, when i restart...

There are 2 components to the solenoid. One is the solenoid itself and the other is the electrical components that sends signals to the solenoid for it to operate. I would think that the electrical is an issue because after replacement the fault is still present. I suggest to inspect first the lines going to the solenoid if there are lines that needs replacement.

Good day well i write english very bad ) my problem that my car grand vitara model 2000 the engaine j 20a 2000cc 128 hourspower .it eats oil much 4 L on 7000 km so i went to the service. and they told me...

oil burn is NORMAL for a modern engine upto about 1 litre to 1000km.when it gets down to 1ltr to 300km then its time to rebuild the engine.....it used to be thought that an engine that did not use oil was healthy but that was in the days when engines lasted 70/80k before a rebuild.

An emission control sys. indicator has arised (Grand vitara 2005)

To know what it exactly is, you need a code scanner hooked to it.
If there is an autozone near you, go there, tell them the engine light is on and you need the code, takes about 30 seconds. They don't charge, where other places do. Without that code you'll be replacing things you don't need to. There is other sensors in the emission system other than the 02 sensors.

Engine Light stays on

It could be many things making you engine light come on. I would suggest taking it to auto zone or advance auto if you have one in your area they will check your trouble codes for free . With out knowing what trouble code is making your engine light come on I can not tell you witch part is bad.
