Hi, first of all, take your car to any auto zone place or mechanic and they can check your computer for trouble codes to see why it isn't accelerating. It sounds to me like something is wrong with your Throttle Position Sensor, it tells the computer how far your pushing down the throttle to allow the proper ammount of fuel to be injected into the engine, it may have a bad spot in the sensor so when you push the throttle down that far, it's malfunctioning and the computer doesn't know to inject more fuel into the engine to accelerate faster. When this sensor fails, it won't accelerate fast enough and then it should normally store a trouble code in the car CPU....

Concerning the fuel gauge not working, it's either you have a float or sender problem which is quite easy to detect and fix. The fuel pump sender are under the back seat of the car. So you can check it out yourself to find the cause of the problem...

99 Blazer no power when you put your foot down ******* accelerator pedal if you drive lightly will drive ok.

Maybe the fuel filter is clogging up, and only letting a bit of fuel through it. Sounds like when giving it gas, it is starved for fuel. God-Bless!

Hi i have a boost control on my 99 forrester gt an running 10.5 pound boost but car is running ruff every time i put my foot down iv change plugs leads an still having problem what could it be

This engine had a problem with the ignition coil which resulted in the problem you describe, i.e., missing and rough running under load. I\'ve attached and ad for a replacement coil that also suggests that you clean and re-secure the coil ground and check or replace the Crank Position Sensor. Hope this helps.

Bought 2003 Tribute V6 recently. Is it normal to hear loud vaccuum noise coming from pedal area when foot not on brake? Also, is it normal for fuel gauge too rapidly fluctuate, went down a quarter after 38...

No, none of this is normal. The load vacuum noise may be a busted diaphragm in the brake booster. The fluctuating fuel gauge is either a bad sending unit in the fuel tank or a bad fuel gauge.

What feeds the boost gauge? On my 87 Supra Turbo, my boost gauge isn't working properly. Is it vacuum operated? Or are it's readings supplied by the MAF or MAP?

The boost gauge is fed by the Turbo. It tells you how much extra air the turbo is putting into your engine. This is turbo ONLY. Usually a little plastic line from the turbo to the gauge.

Mk3 Supra Turbo Boost Gauge Problems

The gauge is working fine, the turbo will not kick in untill the engine is spinning fast enough, as the turbo is propelled by exaughst from the engine. So, you can drive around normal and never use the turbo, and climb in the gas and spool the turbo up, what you are noticing is called turbo lag, which is the biggest down fall when compaired to superchargers!

Supercharger troubleshooting????

Check for a vacuum leak from the inlet and outlet hoses on the boost bypass valve and especially the boost solenoid.
