This is usually caused by one of two things the ignition module or the coil. in coils when the windings are compromised when they heat up the cracked windings seperate to create an open circuit when they cool they again make contact till they heat and expand again

My bronco2 wont start. Just replaced both fuel pumps, fuel filter, battery, fuel injector modal, I've tried to locate the restart button, think i've found it but it was broke. What do i do now or what is...

starter if engine wont crank....otherwise if it turns over but no start then it could be electrical maybe ignition module.if starter no work tap with hammer while trying to start they get hung up or on a flat spot an that usually jars them free...try electrical first pull one spark plug and see if when you trun it over the spark jumps the plug if it does then it is a fuel problem...dont hold spark plug wire position it to lay away fro everything...nobody likes gettin shocked no matter how funny it is after.....

If car is parked for 45min running will it restart?
Most likely you have a fuel pump getting hot & shutting down cools off & then will restart. The fuel pump relay could also do this.

1986 ford econoline ignition failure

It could be your catalytic converter which is clogged, when the car is cold.. you are getting enough exhaust escaping allowing the car to run, but it will be very restrictive, once this is hot is so restricted that it will not allow the car to restart.
This can be a serious condition and if parked over dry grass or trash could actually start a fire. Take you vehicle to a respectable exhaust specialist.

Have you checked the fuel pressure. If its fuel injection it has to have a certain pressure on the fuel rail for the injectors to work properly. The fuel regulators are known to go bad on the ford 300's.
