Question about Oldsmobile Alero
It sounds like one or more of the light globes is not working. The easiest way to check them is to turn on hazard switch and then make sure all are working. If any need replacing ensure the correct wattage globes are used. If after replacing globes and some are still not working, It could be a bad earth connection in the light fitting. First, check how well the metal base of the globe fits into the socket. If it is a bit loose remove the globe, squeeze the sides of the metal socket with some pliers so that the globe fits snugly in the socket. If it is still not working correctly, check the earth wire that runs from the globe socket and any connectors in the wiring loom near the Light Assemblies as well as where the earth wire is attached to the body. If necessary, remove, clean thoroughly by removing any corrosion or paint and re-attach securely.
