Question about 2001 Dodge Durango
I can be driving or sitting at a stop light/sign and my durango will rev up and want to excelorate. i was driving from tennessee back to ohio and there were several times( i was driving at about 75 mph) it would rev or act like it wants to stall. will it be costly to fix and what could be the problem?
A good possibility is that the throttle position sensor is reading erratically. A repair facility with a good scan tool should be able to diagnose this and tell you for sure. You could expect to pay around 200 dollars for this repair.

TPS is a easy fix. They cost about $44 at your local parts store. You just unbolt it, unplug it, and reinstall. Should take only a few minutes.
