The code is not on the radio, but the radio serial number is and that is what you will need to get the code for your radio. Just call the saab dealership in your area and ask for the parts department. Tell them that you need the radio code and give them the serial number of your radio. They can look up the code for your radio using that number and give it to you. I had the same problem and the parts department gave me my radio code at no charge.

Need the radio code to reset after battery was disconnected.

Afraid there is no radio code as such....the Saab headunit is paired to the car with Saab Tech 2 software.
A dead battery swap shouldnt lose the radio if it was working before you changed the battery.
Have you checked the fuse for the radio?

You should also post on Saabcentral

I suggest look in the Fuse Passenger Box, positions 9, 13 and 21 under 15AMP range.

1995 saab 9000 radio code. requesting code in

Not a problem

If you are the owner of the car, all you need to do is contact your SAAB dealer and by using your registration plate number, they can cross check it against a list which is open to SAAB agents and they will tell you. it works! I did it recently after having a battery changed.

I need he code for my radio,,,saab 1988 somebody helpme

First thing you have to do is remove the radio from the dash. If you are lucky, someone wrote it right on it but that's usually not the case. With radio in hand, call a saab dealership and they can tell you. Don't expect to get the code for free though, unless you get in touch with a kind dealership.

Radio code

Take your registration, title, and photo ID to the dealership. This way you can prove the car is yours, you are who you say you are, and will provide the VIN number to the dealer. They can use the VIN number to look up the radio code for your car. You may have to pay for this though, anywhere up to an hour's labor - this will vary from dealer to dealer.
