I just recently got an actuator for 119.00. and the temp door flap for 41.00 check your actuator first to see if its really broken. after i ordered it, and my husband went to replace it, the old one actually worked. it was the heat door flap that was totally broken. and i couldnt return the actuator since it was considered a special order item. i have found that you can only get this through a dealership. compare prices first with 5-6 chevy dealerships. some are way over priced. the most expensive i had found was 156.00. 2006 torrents are really bad for this.

Where is the blend door actuator located on 03 Hummer h2. Driver side blows cold, passenger side blows hot

They are not vac on the h2. there is 2 for temp control, one for recirc and one for blend. check the hummer forum as there is a great read for it there. the driver side actuator is really ez as it's under the glovebox, 20 min fix. the rest take removing the whole dash but it's not that tough.

2003 ford explorer no heat and clicking in dash board

Clicking sound is your blend door actuator stripping it's gears and failing to open the door that directs the blower air through the heater core. Follow the sound to the actuator and remove it. Install a new one. You may have to remove some panels to get to it. The part is shown below and costs $32 at autozone. Please let me know if you have questions.

Press heater zone buttons, doesn't change areas. doesn't open and closevent blocks

There are tubes connected to the back of the control unit that go to door actuators. Get a cheep had vacuum pump and hook it to each actuator and see if each door opens and the diaphragms inside are not leaking if they all work replace the control unit. If the doors have broken off and are laying in the bottom of the heating unit you need to replace the whole unit under dash. On extreme 4x4 or the show trucks they had a repair kit for dodge and chevy. The doors open and close just like a cheep plastic tool box with no hinges just a piece of thin plastic that bends back and forth till it breaks. The kit comes with metal hinges and new doors

99 ford expedition front heat does not work rear heat works great.

There is a good chance that your blend door actuator located in the front heater box may not be working. The actuator (a white square device that measures about 2 1/2" square and 1/2" thick) is mounted on the bottom of the heater box direct center of the dash. Using a small inspection mirror you should be able to see the actuator (alot easier if you remove the center console) and the shaft that comes out of the top of it. With the key on see if the shaft turns when you change the temp knob. If it doesn't move then you probably need a new actuator. if it does move then there is a chance that the door it is attached to is broken.

Air vents will not work for the heating, but wil work for a/c. It has a clicking noice like vent will not open.

It sounds as if the temp blend door actuator is broken. This is not uncommen, the gears in the actuator become worn and start slipping. The only fix is to replace the actuator. This can vary in price depending on the labor time and cost of part.

02 explorer.no heat, makes thumping noise when temp turned to heat

The concern lies in the temperature blend door. Most likely if it is clicking the door is broken where the motor shaft (the motor that actuates the door) goes into the door. Replace both the door and motor ( unfortunately from Ford the whole heater box needs to be replaced) or an aftermarket such as Dorman may have the door separate.  The entire dash needs to be removed for the repair so it is quite costly.

2001 ford escape-passenger door handle assembly has small hole for actuating rod to fit in to open the door from outside. This portion seems to have broken off (white metal-alum ect).Is there a fix for this...

I just ordered the part for the inside of the door from a local ford dealer. It was in Michigan and arrived in three days to Missouri so shipping is fairly fast. The part is around $35.00. The part number is 6L8Z-78223N03-AA. Its the inside door reinforcement bracket and it comes with a new bushing for the actuator rod. I hope this helps.
