Can I swap an Isuzu Trooper 6VD1(RLS) engine with an Isuzu Wizard 6VD1(RLS) engine

That engine was used in both models. As long as the model number, year of manufacture and generation of the engine match you should be able to do the swap. An obvious suggestion is to take a very good look at your engine and take photos, then go to look at the replacement engine. Compare the two. If your not sure take someone with you that knows engines.

What is involved in replacing motor in 1992 mr2

You have to undue all the pipes, and connections(be sure to label each pipe and wire to prevent further headaches upon re installation.) Drain all fluids out of engine and transmition. (might as well do a coolant flush through the entire coolant system while the engine is out through the pipes that lead to and from the radiator.) Depending on if you have a 3sgte mr2 you may have to remove the turbo to make the engine easier to remove (you have to take the engine, and transmition out through the bottom of the car. remove rear axles if you can, may have to just remove them from the car's suspension and take them out with the engine and transmition
Thats what you have to do to remove the engine. to replace just the engine you will have to remove the transmition from the engine, buy a new engine-transmition seal, replace it, and bolt the old transmition to the new engine.
Repeat the removal steps in reverse to install the drive unit again

I need to change a clutch on a 2000 Dodge neon 2.0. What is the easiest way to do it. I have done clutches on farm equipment but not a front wheel drive car so I only need a general process Thanks

You're going to need an engine hoist to hold the engine up and use a transmission jack to lower the transmission. This is hard to do, because the engine hoist's legs roll underneath the car, blocking access to dropping the transmission. It is easiest, to me, to just pull the engine and the transmission completely out of the car through the hood of the car as one unit. Separate the two while it's on the ground. Replace the clutch. Put the engine and transmission back together, and replace engine and transmission as one unit.
To pull everything out will take you one full day. Putting everything back usually takes two days. Note: take the radiator out as an un-headache precaution!

  2. Potential
  3. While taking the time to replace an engine may seem labor-intensive and costly, it will add years to a vehicle's life and will save a car owner from the cost of having to buy a new car.
  4. Benefits
  5. Taking a car to a mechanic and replacing an engine with a used engine can cost between $1,000 to $2,000 for parts and labor.
  6. Solution
  7. Car owners interested in replacing their engines with new ones can expect to pay anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000.
  8. Speculation
  9. For those interested in doing the engine replacement themselves, purchasing specialized tools needed for the job is a cost to consider in addition to the price of a replacement engine.
