These can be a "bugger"... Once you have the 2 screws out, I usually get a small screwdriver wrapped in a rag between the lamp and the quarter panel (on the side of the vehicle) and gently pry the lamp straight towards the back. You might think that something is going to break and just when you think it will for sure, it will pop loose and the lamp will be in your hands, so be ready to catch it.

SOURCE: ym shifter is stuck in
its your shift lever solenoid, you will need to acess the inside of your console, next to the shifter, usually on the left and mounted to the floor you will see an electrical connecter with a plug that usually hs 2 wires, this is it, 2 options, replace the part or just unplug it and leave it unplugged, but be advised that if you leave it unplugged the car will now be able to be put in gear without your foot having to be applied to the brake as this is the purpose of this plug

IM A TECH AT A NISSAN DEALER I HAVE ONE RIGHT NOW WITH THE SAME PROBLEM IT TURNED OUT TO BE A SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNIT PART IS $131.00 THE UNIT SHORTS OUT AND DOESNT SEND A GROUND SIGNAL TO THE SHIFT LOCK SELONOID
