What motor?

3.0 it is timing belt driven and located in the center of the passenger side of the engine under the timing cover.

3.3 and 3.8 liter it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle. you'll nee to jack up the passenger side, remove the tire, remove the splash shield, and then you'll be able to see it on the lower right of the engine. It will have the smooth pulley with four bolts holding it on. You can also follow the lower hose the the back of the water pump.

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

95-2001 plymouth voyager water pump

For all dodge minivans 94 to 2001 (and others) with 3.0 ltr V-6. You're driving on the freeway your temp gauge starting to go up. You get off the freeway. when the engine is cooled down you discover that the coolant in gone. You refill the radiator and look for a leak but can't find one. You check the oil but its not foamy, so no coolant there. If all seems to be operating normally, check under the vehicle when the engine is warmed up. There may be a slight coolant leak on the passenger side near the front tire .When the water pump on these engines typically coolant will leak out of the pump thru a "weep hole" located at the bottom of the pump. Most of the loss occurs while driving so your only indication may be that small drip of coolant. The water pump is powered by the camshaft timing belt and is located under the timing belt cover and can not be seen, however any coolant leak, no matter how small, in the area just to the rear of the crankshaft pulley is almost surely a failed water pump and must be addressed immediately

Slow Leak in Water Pump-1999 Plymouth Voyager

What's probably happening is the weep hole on the water pump is leaking water. The weep hole is a warning sign that the water pump needs replaced. You don't have any heat because the impeller in the water pump is no longer circulating water.

Want to know if it is a timing belt or timing chain that is required for a 2002 chrysler voyager

It's a belt. Cost is about 800 to replace belt, water pump and front main seal. You'll want to have the water pump and front main seal done while they r in there, will save headache later. Timing belt runs the water pump so if 1 goes, then so does the other.

I need to know how to change to water pump on my 2000 plymoth voyager mini van

Need to loosen bolts for the water pump pulley. Remove belt and then remove pulley. Should be 5 10mm bolts holding the pump on. Remove the bolts. Reinstall in reverse order. Refill with new coolant.
