Very good indication of a heater core. Is there coolant on the floor or can you here water when the fan is blowing or sound like it is sloshing around on the passenger side if so it will be a heater core which you would have to pull the dash to do the dealer you would look at about 5-6 hr. job 4-6 hundred roughly.

Symbol with waves what does that mean for a dodge 2007 caravan

Usually it has to do with coolant (antifreeze). These waves are horizontal. Vertical waves usually have to do with heating related items (defroster, recirculate). Look in your owners manual. 25322291-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-4-0.png 25322291-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-4-1.jpg

I have a 2005 dodge caravan with a 3.3 engine i have filled the radiator full let vehicle idle for 1 hour checked rad level and it has leaks nor over heating problems where is the anti freeze...

the problem that I came across with dodge caravan is that the transmission cooler is inside the radiator and it deteriorates to the point that the antifrise enters in the transmission. If the oil is the coller of strawberry ice cream.dont look any ferther. The trans will not last to long, the antifreeze deteriorates the clutches.the trans will probably have to be rebuilt. Solution:get an external trans filter then plug the cooling lines at the rad.

2005 Dodge Caravan Leaking under driver floormat - pretty heavy leak. Brake Fluid level fine - trany looked ok - didn't smell like antifreeze - it's a very large amount - what could it be! Didn't smell...

where the water flows from winshield into a drain might be a problem, clogger up,your blower motor will die out soon, expensive to fix, thats why it dosent smell like antifrees, its rain water build up,get your mecanic to blow the drain out, that was the problem with mine, the book has it down for six hours labour to change the blower moter,if one of the heat settings is not working as it should act quickly,

The heater stopped working, we can sometimes smell antifreeze and today there was like a green mist on the wind shield.

Its now dought you need a new heater core its leaking. Thats why you can smell antifreeze and also where the mist on the windsheild is coming from there must be a wet spot on the floor on the middle to the passangers side aswell good luck

Heater in 2005 Caravan takes forever to heat and comes and goes

First thing to check is if the radiator and overflow tank are properly filled with antifreeze (with engine cool, of course) Next, is the temperature gauge moving up properly? If not, you probably need to replace the thermostat.

Cabin smells when heat or defroster is on

What your smelling is most likely coolant (antifreeze). You may have a heater core leak. If you dont smell the same smell after running the A/C or just vented cool air from outside for a few minutes then that is your problem.

Heater works but defrost fills inside with fog.

your heater core has probably sprung a leak.does the fog smell kinda sweet?....check the floor in the front where the floor mats are for moisture or even puddles of antifreeze.(the replacement of a heater core can be very expensive as the entire dash usually needs to be removed to access the heater core)also look under the engine near the firewall for antifreeze drips.
