You have a couple of belts up front there, each has it's own tensioner, the power steering belt is adj by the power steering unit itself, you see that square hole in there, ? it is for a 1/2 drive breaker bar, the alternator is adj by the alternator, and the ac has an idler puller that rides up and down to adj the tension, you have to loosen the bolt in the middle of the idler. If you are talking about the timing belt, you have to get a pin, small, pull the tensioner back as far as you can and get the pin in the hole, the belt will come off. Do not pull the pin back out till the belt is set, then let her go. If your truck is starting to sound like a diesel and it isn't a diesel, it is the timing belt tensioner, they rattle like crazy. Hope this helps.

What would make a Isuzu amigo to suck to much air, and idle high?

You need to check the coil packs, O2 or to lower the idle by loosening nut on back of jets and adjusting screw until idle is set as low as you want it but I would suggest 5-7 MPH. Tighten nut to lock in screw. This is a mechanic's cheater adjustment that takes less then 2 minutes to do.

Some of the warning lights stay on.

so all the lights that come on when you first turn the key on stay on? maybe your alternator is not working properly? or not connecting to your dash panel correctly? or maybe the engine management system has a fault in it? more likely to be a dodgy connection to your dash board.
